True Underground (TU) launched in November 2022 as an independent dance music media platform. Founded by the team behind change-underground.com, TU publishes curated journalism, exclusive music premieres, long-form interviews, DJ mixes and lifestyle features that document and showcase the best of what the underground has to offer.

What we do

Curated editorial. We prioritise editorial selection over volume. Every feature, mix and interview is chosen through curation rather than open submissions or algorithmic volume. Coverage spans techno, house and forward-facing electronic subgenres, focusing on the artists, labels and scenes shaping the underground.

Artist and audience development. We provide credible exposure and context-driven storytelling to support artist careers and label strategies.
