Galestian Finally Releases His Favourite Crowd Pleaser

SPREAD THE WORD ON SOCIALS

“Shifted Reality”, has been a long in the making for Galestian, which is finally stepping out of his sets into release.

Split between Los Angeles and Berlin, Galestian has shaped a sound that draws equally from European midnight intensity and the open, textured atmospheres of the American West Coast. This single lands as the tenth release on Global Entry Recordings, the label he has grown into a platform for deep, melodic and afro music.

The piece carries the imprint of both worlds. Its foundation sits in Berlin’s darker melodic techno: steady low-end drive, restrained tension, and a focus on hypnotic repetition. Layered over that structure are elements picked up from the West Coast’s desert culture. Eastern-leaning motifs, wide sonic spaces, and a sense of inward movement steer the track toward something more reflective than functional. The result is a measured blend rather than an extreme one, built to evolve across long sets. It ties together the influences that have defined his recent work and reinforces the label’s aim of bringing different global scenes into a single coherent sound.

“Shifted Reality” has been road-tested for years. Galestian aired it quietly, paying attention to how different rooms responded. The reactions were consistent. People asked for the ID, and the track developed its own small mythology without ever appearing on streaming platforms. That steady pressure led to its formal release.
