Inside VSNZ Winter Arc 2026: A Three-Day Festival High in the Swiss Alps

SPREAD THE WORD ON SOCIALS

After a sold-out debut, VSNZ Winter Arc 2026 expands its alpine portal in Grindelwald with new stages, increased capacity, and a carefully curated lineup set across the Bernese Alps.

Set once again in Grindelwald, VSNZ Winter Arc 2026 expands its capacity from 4,800 to 6,000 while deepening its vision as a site-specific, immersive winter gathering shaped by altitude, architecture, and sound.

Designed as a three-day journey rather than a conventional festival, VSNZ Winter Arc 2026 unfolds in chapters, moving from village-level intimacy to summit-scale intensity. With artists including Argy, CamelPhat, Carlita, Fideles, HoneyLuv and Sebastian Konrad, the weekend pairs electronic music with dramatic alpine geography and newly developed stage designs created specifically for the mountain environment.

The experience begins on Friday 6 March with Chapter I at Terminal Stage in the heart of Grindelwald. This opening ritual functions as an arrival point rather than a climax, grounding the audience before the ascent. Unticketed and open to all, Friday establishes the tone of the weekend while connecting the festival directly to the village itself.

Saturday marks the core activation of VSNZ Winter Arc 2026 as the Arc opens at Männlichen Bergstation, positioned 2,225 metres above sea level. Reached by cable car, the summit stage becomes a contained world where sound, light and landscape align. Argy presents his NEWORLD concept in a one-time alpine setting, joined by Carlita, HoneyLuv and Sebastian Konrad. This configuration exists only once, defined by altitude, isolation and scale, with no repetition beyond this moment.

Sunday completes the arc. With the environment now fully activated, the final day pushes the experience to its highest intensity. CamelPhat, Cassian, Fideles, Julia Linkogel and Read The News drive a continuous flow of sound that transforms the mountain plateau into a sustained audiovisual surge. Rather than a closing set, Sunday operates as a full reveal, where the concept reaches its intended form before dissolving.

Grindelwald itself is integral to the identity of VSNZ Winter Arc 2026. Located at approximately 1,030 metres above sea level in the Bernese Alps, the village sits beneath the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, three of the most recognisable peaks in Europe. Known for its mountaineering history and winter sports culture, Grindelwald offers a rare balance between raw alpine scale and lived-in village warmth.

During winter, the surrounding region becomes a snow-covered network of ski routes, toboggan runs and mountain trails, while the village maintains its traditional character through timber chalets, local cafés and long-standing alpine customs. This contrast between elemental landscape and human settlement underpins the festival’s structure, moving audiences between environments rather than containing them within a single site.

Each night concludes back in Grindelwald with official afterparties, extending the experience beyond the mountain stages. These sessions draw on local culture, late-night energy and close-proximity spaces, shifting the scale while maintaining continuity across the weekend.

VSNZ Winter Arc 2026 exists for three days only. Its format is fixed, its location unrepeatable, and its structure bound to this specific moment in time. Standard and VIP tickets are on sale now at https://vsnz.ch
