Patrick Bodmer, also known as M.A.N.D.Y., has seen the best of what the electronic music scene has to offer in his two-decade career.

He grew up in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, when the German techno scene of the 90s was blossoming with the influence of Detroit techno and the UK’s acid house. With momentum quickly growing, Patrick’s passion for music was taking the lead in his career, so he quit his other day jobs and moved to Berlin where he started the labels ‘Get Physical’ and ‘Kindisch’ together with DJ T. and Booka Shade. Together, they produced tracks such as the remake of “O Superman” in collaboration with Laurie Anderson, as well as “Body Language” in 2005, which became the pinnacle of the newly named genre “Electro House”.

With the fast-growing discography (including remixes for Royksopp, The Knife, Tracy Thorn, Mathew Dear, Damian Lazarus, Miss Kittin, Black Coffee, etc.) and the signing of new artists, M.A.N.D.Y. created an abundance of original music that crossed the house and techno genres.

M.A.N.D.Y. created their own event series and performed at festivals around the world, such as Glastonbury, Coachella, and Loveparade, with residencies at Watergate and KaterBlau, Fabric, Privilege, Amnesia, Pascha, etc. Compilations and podcasts for the likes of Fabric, Renaissance, and the BBC1 “Essential Mix” and TU followed after.

The Body Language remixes featuring HOSH and Patrice Baumel are out on 31st March
